I'll tell you about the particular adventure we experienced in Vinci. We were a group of friends from Friuli Venezia Giulia and Australia, after visiting Leonardo's museum, we looked for a restaurant for 8 people. We couldn't find a place anywhere, and in one place, they even treated us not too kindly. Hungry and with a very small child, we tried to call the premises before venturing out into the sun....The lemon house was closed, but the owners also own the Alexandra hotel, where they welcomed us with great kindness. We found itFriendly staff, quality food with home cooking, clean and welcoming environment. We ate an excellent appetizer of local cured meats and some splendid homemade pasta with Chianina ragù. The owners kindly offered us a taste of homemade gnudi, and gave us a portion of ragù for our friends to try, who particularly liked it. We therefore highly recommend this restaurant and also the hotel. Aurora

We had lunch with them before a match in Empoli. They made sure not to make us late, their concern was also to make us feel good. Excellent lunch, top quality food, large and generous portions. What can I say... it's not the first time we've been there and it's been a guarantee for years now. Traditional cuisine with quality raw materials. The room with a garden view is super for a large dinner with friends, birthdays or other events. Simone and his parents are really kind and welcoming.

In a small village, where we live on tourism... it is impossible to speak badly of the quality of the services.Typical cuisine, ancient recipes.Then, the classic.Of course, the place could be modernized, but it is impossible not to think about the period we are going through.At other times the place would certainly have been full.Compliments go instead for the service.To the housewife, I really need to say it... in the true sense of the term because that's how I felt... Marvelous! We stumbled upon it by chance after a trip to Cerreto Guidi, even though they were full and we hadn't booked, they seated us immediately. They took the order in record time and served us. Excellent raw materials expertly processed, traditional dishes, but with an eye on innovation.A special mention to the owner, kind and very nice, a true host who knows how to make the guest feel at home.Highly recommended!
